South African Angels of Hope, founded by Fiona Rassool, is a non-profit organization based in Pretoria. Established in 2012, Angels of Hope is involved in providing nutritional meals, personal hygiene items, educational support, clothing and improving the living conditions in underprivileged areas. Our main purpose is to serve those in need across all regions of South Africa. We serve many orphanages, old age homes, homeless shelters and underprivileged communities as far away as Durban and many rural areas. Our very first initiative as a non-profit organization was the feeding scheme at a homeless shelter in central Pretoria, thereafter, we delivered blankets for the Winter Warmer Projects. Since then we have grown and we are now involved in various other projects in and around South Africa.
Every purchase you make, a percentage of the profits will be contributed to the Angels of Hope NPO to directly support our long-term projects. Our Story
Our long-term goal is to build a village in the Pretoria area that will provide a safe and supportive community for homeless individuals and families, as well as elderly individuals who cannot afford to live in traditional old age homes. The village will consist of three facilities: an orphanage for children who have been orphaned or abandoned, a shelter for homeless families, and an old age home. Our vision is to create a place filled with hope, compassion and most importantly lots of love, where individuals can feel supported and cared for. In addition to providing housing, we plan to offer a skills development program to help the unemployed gain the skills they need to become self-sufficient. While there are several examples of villages accommodating the homeless in different parts of the world we are committed to creating a unique and tailored solution for the citizen in the Pretoria area that meets the specific needs of our community.
